Budding or established children’s author? Or just have a love of writing? Want to inspire children to become authors themselves?
Schools are always looking for books that fit into the curriculum – providing a massive potential market for you.
LendMeYourLiteracy can offer recommendations of your book alongside each individual piece of children’s writing. For example, if a teacher in Year 4 is about to commence a poetry topic they will access lendmeyourliteracy.org to find examples of children’s poems. However, if you are a poet yourself and your audience is around the 8-9 year old range we can recommend your book to that teacher, parent, pupil or anyone else who may be visiting the site as an additional resource!
In addition to this we can recommended textbooks and other resources linked to that piece of work for the benefit of the teacher.
We want classes to search for any authors in their area and ask them to come into school.
You could even send us a video explaining the inspiration behind your work and the process behind it.
We can offer a link to your author website so the pupils, teachers (and parents) can find out more about you and maybe generate a few sales!
We can even post extracts of your work (with permission from your publisher) alongside that of the children’s for users to compare and contrast – creating a really motivational and inspiring post for the pupil.
