The Etherington Brothers are creators of “Monkey Nuts” and “Baggage”, published by Random House.

They have also worked on comics including The Dandy, Transformers, Star Wars, Terminator Salvation and Wallace and Gromit!

Their clients include LucasArts, Aardman, Dreamworks, Random House, The Guardian, David Fickling Books, Titan, DC Thomson and SLG.

The Etherington Brothers live and work in Bristol and tour the country showcasing their comicbook workshops in schools, libraries, bookshops and at award ceremonies and festivals.

We are delighted to welcome them to Lendmeyourliteracy.

 

Competition!

LendMeYourLiteracy and Random House would like to offer children the opportunity to win signed copies of “Baggage” and ” Monkey Nuts”. All you have to do is design your own comic character and write a brief biography describing their unique features.

Send in a photo of your illustration with an attached word document containing your biography to admin@lendmeyourliteracy.com. Remember to use plenty of descriptive language.

We will post our favourite entries on LendMeYourLiteracy so other children can comment on them. We will then send our favourite five to be judged by The Etherington Brothers themselves!
